Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 19th June 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website, booking services, or receiving treatment from Wholeness Physiotherapy. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Wholeness Physiotherapy provides physiotherapy, rehabilitation, exercise therapy, mobility support, care home physiotherapy, community physiotherapy, and related healthcare services. All physiotherapy services are delivered by appropriately qualified practitioners registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and, where applicable, members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
2. Website Information
The information contained on this website is provided for general information purposes only. Website content is not intended to replace professional medical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. You should always seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional regarding your individual circumstances. Reliance on information published on this website is at your own discretion.
3. Appointments & Bookings
Appointments may be arranged by telephone, email, online enquiry, referral, or other agreed booking methods. All appointments are subject to practitioner availability. We reserve the right to amend, reschedule, or cancel appointments where necessary. If this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements.
4. Assessment & Treatment
Prior to treatment, an assessment will be undertaken to determine your clinical needs and suitability for physiotherapy services. Following assessment, your physiotherapist will discuss their clinical findings, recommended treatment options, potential benefits and risks, rehabilitation goals, and expected treatment frequency where appropriate. Treatment plans may change throughout the rehabilitation process based on your progress, response to treatment, or updated clinical findings.
5. Consent to Treatment
Your informed consent will be obtained before treatment begins. You have the right to ask questions regarding your treatment, decline any proposed treatment, and withdraw consent at any stage. Where a client lacks capacity to provide consent, consent must be obtained from an authorised representative where legally appropriate.
6. Your Responsibilities
To help us provide safe and effective treatment, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about your health, inform us of any changes to your medical condition, follow rehabilitation and exercise advice as appropriate, raise any concerns regarding treatment promptly, and attend appointments on time. Recovery outcomes may be influenced by several factors including medical history, adherence to treatment recommendations, lifestyle factors, and the nature of the condition being treated.
7. Fees & Payment
Fees for services will be communicated prior to treatment wherever possible. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due before completion of an appointment, invoices must be settled within the stated payment period, and outstanding balances may result in suspension of future appointments. We reserve the right to recover reasonable costs associated with unpaid invoices.
8. Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Where less than 24 hours' notice is provided, or where an appointment is missed without notice, we reserve the right to charge up to the full appointment fee. Cancellation charges may be waived in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
9. Home Visits & Community Appointments
For home-based physiotherapy services, clients must ensure that the treatment environment is reasonably safe and suitable for assessment and treatment. We reserve the right to terminate or rearrange a visit if safety concerns arise, access is unavailable, or environmental conditions prevent safe delivery of care. Additional travel charges may apply where agreed in advance.
10. Clinical Outcomes
While every effort will be made to provide high-quality physiotherapy services, no guarantee can be given regarding treatment outcomes, recovery timescales, or achievement of specific goals. Recovery varies between individuals and depends upon numerous clinical and personal factors beyond our control.
11. Confidentiality & Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information responsibly. Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy & Cookie Policy. Confidential information will only be shared where you have provided consent, it is necessary for your care, disclosure is required by law, or there is a safeguarding or public safety concern. For further details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such limitation would be unlawful. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wholeness Physiotherapy shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of income or earnings, loss resulting from inaccurate information provided by the client, or failure to follow treatment recommendations. Our liability shall be limited to the value of the services provided where permitted by law.
